I have over 34 years experience in the roofing industry.

I was introduced to the trade in 1973, working for my father's company in Valhalla, New York. My father started me as a laborer on a residential roofing crew having to prove the point that it did not matter whether or not I was the bosses son. So I polished my skills and showed him I was a leader. In return, I became foreman of the crew.

It is this experience I brought with me to Palm Coast, where I opened my own roofing company in January, 1981. Since then, Stephen M. Rende Roofing has been voted the Best Roofing Company in Flagler County for the last 16 years averaging 200 roofs a year.
